about

This release was produced independently. Everything is written, recorded and programmed by Luca Bermudez, featuring Vilasini Venkatesh on 'Temper' and was mixed and mastered by Oliver Corrodi from Mantra Studio. ‘Limits of the Mind’ is the fifth release by Cloudyspace, following ‘Symbiosis’ from 2014.

‚Limits of the Mind’ is about the massive strength of human intelligence. It’s our responsibility to learn how to deal with that power, so that our world and its inhabitants won't suffer its consequences. On the other hand, our greatest tools against abuse of power and suffering is our very own intelligence, abilities and human compassion. It’s only a question of our perception and ability to expand our minds - and wandering the fine line between saving ourselves and our own ultimate destruction. These themes are expressed in five ambient instrumental metal songs with complementary handdrawn artworks. Everything is packaged in roughly twenty minutes of atmospheric experience. The musical arc of tension is to be concluded in a following EP called ‘Limits of the Flesh’, which is scheduled to be released sometime soon.
